The Collie township is centrally
situated amongst the beautiful scenic countryside of the Darling
Scarp and Plateau. The picturesque Collie River and the extensive
natural beauty of the national parks and state forest offer many sights and

Complex facility provides an alternative raceway for club motor
sports in WA covering a wide range of motor classes and
events. |

The town of Collie arose out of a
history of coalmining and today tours run through a replica
underground mine and to two currently operational open cut mines.
The town has retained many historical buildings including the
Premier Hotel. The hotel was built in 1900 and recently restored to
retain its original character. |

The longest section of the Bibbulmun
Track runs through the Shire of Collie. 'The Premier' offers a great
starting or central point for those walking the north or south
sections. The Collie Visitors Centre offers detailed
